In 1995 eighteen-year-old Patrick Kluivert scored the goal against Milan that won the Champions League, and the Dutch national team was then made up almost entirely of Ajax players. The crest with Ajax's head drawn in eleven lines, one for each player, was worn from 1990, and from the 2025/26 season the club went back to the classic 1928 version. A Polish link? Arkadiusz Milik scored 47 goals here in two seasons.
